Tour Overview

This tour starts in Vienna, Austria, which was the imperial seat of the Habsburg Monarchy for 650 years. It is a stunning cosmopolitan European capital where tradition and modernity coexist and complement one another. An undisputed center for music and the visual arts, it’s also a treasure trove for history buffs. Our two mountain destinations, Bad Gastein (Austria) and Cortina (Italy), will provide opportunities to see the finest views of the highest Austrian Alps. We’ll enjoy walks and gentle hikes soaking up the mountain air. Finally, we’ll experience the canals and waterways of Venice as we explore the city’s unique architecture, world-class art museums, and numerous churches housing artworks of the Italian masters. We’ll also visit the island of Murano, known for its glass-blowing traditions.
